TERMS & CONDITIONS

By using our services or website, you agree to the following terms. Please read them before booking or engaging EJ Property Maintenance.
1 Our Services
EJ Property Maintenance provides a range of general property maintenance services, including lawn mowing, garden care, whipper snipping and edging, yard resets, general cleaning, and end-of-lease/bond cleans. We service both residential and commercial clients.
We reserve the right to decline any job at our discretion if we are not adequately equipped to complete the work to our standards.
2 Quotes & Pricing
All quotes are provided in writing and are valid for 7 days. Prices are in AUD and GST-inclusive where applicable. If extra work is identified on-site, we'll notify you before proceeding — no surprises.
3 Bookings & Scheduling
Bookings are confirmed once a quote has been accepted. While we aim to attend at the scheduled time, delays or rescheduling may occur due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. We will provide as much notice as possible in these situations.
4 Payment
Payment is due upon job completion unless otherwise agreed. For larger projects, a deposit of up to 20% may be required upfront.
Invoices unpaid after 7 days may incur a late fee where applicable. Disputed invoices must be raised in writing within 7 days.
5 Cancellations

More than 24 hours' notice — no charge

Less than 24 hours or no-show — up to 50% cancellation fee
A cancellation fee does not apply when you have to reschedule.
6 Your Responsibilities

Provide safe and clear access to the property, including unlocking gates and securing pets prior to our arrival

Ensure all required utilities (water, electricity) are available and in working order where needed

Inform us in advance of any hazards, special requirements, or areas needing attention

Confirm bookings, approvals, and payments (including any required deposit) in a timely manner
7 Workmanship Guarantee
If you're not satisfied with our work, contact us within 48 hours of completion and we'll make it right at no extra cost. This covers workmanship only — not pre-existing conditions or third-party damage.
8 Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the job in question. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. We hold public liability insurance — certificate available on request. Nothing here limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
9 Privacy
Your personal information is used only to deliver our services and will never be sold. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
10 Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services means you accept the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
